We're mobilizing schools and youth groups to join the global movement on November 29th 2019 for a peaceful march in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Participants will walk down main business streets displaying banners, and giving out cards to raise awareness about the Climate Crisis. By educating the public about climate change and protecting our environment we hope to shift political thought and regulations towards environmental sustainability. To conclude the event, we will plant fruit trees at one the local schools in Freetown to help combat deforestation and educate students about sustainable agriculture. They will also provide a continuous supply of snacks for students once they grow and begin producing fruits. Most importantly we hope this project will fuel a passion for environmental activism and give participants a hands-on experience of what it's like to 'Create a New Future That Works For All'.
